Mrs. Kathryn Flemister Bailey, age 87 of Rome passed away Saturday May 23, 2015 in a Rome Medical Center.
Mrs. Bailey was born June 13, 1927 in Cherokee County, Alabama a daughter of the late Carl Flemister, and Lena Wright Flemister. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bailey, brother, Ray Flemister, sisters, Irene Hale, and Inez Hale.
Survivors include her brother and sister in law, Harry and Betty Flemister, Rome; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Stephens, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until the hour of the service on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
