Kelsey Sierra Ely, age 20 of Rome, passed away Tuesday April 7, 2015 in a Rome Medical Center.
Kelsey was born June 2, 1994, in Floyd County. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and a 2012 graduate of Model High School. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Alice (Grand and Pa), and Roy Ely, sister, Stephanie Camp.
Survivors include her, mother and step father, Cam Sexton Coffman, and Mark Coffman, father, Kevin Ely, special uncle & aunt Leslie and Belinda Sexton. grandmother, Juanita Ely, sister, Brittany Perkins, niece, Sierra Perkins, very special friends, David McGaskey, Halli Selman, Erica Throneberry, Lauren Williams, Brianna Jacks, and Shane Taylor, and several special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 11, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Ricky Studdard and Rev. Jerry Branton, officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday April 10, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Kelsey will lie instate at the church on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until hour of the service.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the church by 1:30p.m. on Saturday, Chance Coffman, Cameron Chambers, Josh Danford, Josh Flemister, Josh Lewis, and Brent Law.
Honorary Pallbearers include, Mykel Ely, Davis McGaskey, Shane Taylor, and Steve McGaskey.
