Kevin Eugene "Big K" Garrison, age 44 of Rome passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
A native of Rome, Kevin was born August 28, 1972 son of Clyde Garrison and the late Sandra Taylor Garrison. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked for Taylor's Supermarket and was a graduate of Armuchee High School. Kevin attended South Broad Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother Gary Garrison, and grandparents Connor and Gladys Garrison and W.L. (Lawrence) and Mary Taylor.
Survivors include his father and step mother Clyde and Sarah Garrison; brother Jeff Garrison (Chrystal loghry) ; stepbrothers Tim(Paulette) and Jason (Joanie) Pickle and a stepsister Michelle (Todd) Stricklin; uncles Ron (Nancy) Taylor and David (JoAnn) Jenkins, several cousins, and a niece and nephew also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue with Reverend Ricky Studdard officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should meet at 10:45 Tuesday: Jeff Garrison, Mike Taylor, Todd Stricklin, Randy Bordelon, Corey Hensen, and Jason Eskridge.
