Lindsey James Trussell, age 52, of Rome passed away Sunday October 1, 2017 in an Atlanta Medical Center.
Lindsey was born September 7, 1965 in Pinealas Park, Fl. He was employed by Trussell and Associate's Insurance Agency. He was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Ray and Betty Dobbs Trussell, Rome; partner, Steven R. Boyd, Rome; siters, Seena (Bill) Cory, Lindale; brother, Clay (Debbie) Trussell, Summerville, SC; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday October 9, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roger Lantern officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until time of service. Pallbearers include, Brian Cory, Hayden Cory, Jamie Kouch, Kevin Wilson, Johnny Ray Wheat, and Joseph Sutherland.
His nieces will serve as honorary pallbearers, Joy Bowden, Francey Cory Elisabeth Trussell, Vika Trussell, Katie Trussell, Haley Blair, Regan Boyd, Madison Blair, and Hannah Blair.
