Lisa was born on December 17, 1962 in Rome GA., to the Joe Dean Smith and Joann Simpson Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Jo and Dorothy smith, and David and Lottie Simpson; aunt: Joann Lamar; father in law: Kenneth Bannister; brother in law: Jerry Bannister; Nephew: Blake Bannister; cousin: James Butts.
Survivors include her husband Van Bannister; daughter: Ashley (Rex Evans) Bannister; grandchildren: Michael Cole Price, Tristan Van Evans; parents: Joe and Joann Smith; siblings: Terry Dean (Connie) Smith, Timmy Scott (BettyAnn) Smith, Sharon Smith (Dave) Fox; mother in law: Phyllis Bannister; sister in law: Kathy (LaDon) Qualls; brother in law: Tony (Rhonda) Bannister; aunt: Barbara Cook; sister: Norma Prater.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 28, 2022 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Rev Frank Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday January 27, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Cole Price, Tristan Evans, LaDon Qualls, Tony Bannister, Jacob Smith, and Rex Evans.
