Mardell Morgan Obituary
Mrs. Mardell L. Morgan, age 75, of Summerville, died September 10, 2020, at a local health care facility.
Mrs. Morgan was born on March 1, 1945, in Walker County, GA. to the late Clyde and Mamie Smith Sprayberry. She was a member of Silver Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bobby Morgan, daughter, Patty Morgan, Sisters, Callie Dennis, Shirley O'neal, and Betty Gean Momon, brothers, Herbert Sprayberry, Clyde Sprayberry, John Sprayberry and Hugh Sprayberry.
Survivors include, her husband of 58 years, Mr. Thomas L. Morgan, a son James L. Morgan, (Judy), a daughter, Jennifer L. Jernigan, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Annslynn Brown, Kohner Brown, Aaron Jernigan, Aleigha Young, Axel Jernigan, Sara & Tyler Owens, Aiden Jernigan, and Timothy Sprayberry. Mrs. Morgan is also survived by a brother, Bob Sprayberry, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Morgan will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, Sept.14, 2020, at Silver Hill Baptist Church, in the Gore-Subligna community, at 2PM. With the, Rev. Barry Brown, officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
