Mardene Chapman Baker, age 75, of Rome passed away Saturday July 3, 2021 at a local hospital.
Mardene was born on October 1, 1945 in Floyd County, to the late Clarence Chapman and Onie Mae Bennett. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Wendy Franks and Brenda Franks; and several siblings.
Survivors include a son: Scott Franks; sister: Shirley Gentry; special niece: Christy Dover.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday July 9, 2021 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
