Myrtle Crider Obituary

Mrs. Myrtle Ruth Conaway Crider, age 79, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday November 3, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Crider was born February 1, 1937, in Cherokee County Alabama, a daughter of the late Wiley Conaway and Sadie Conaway. She was member of the Baptist Faith, and was retired from Mohawk Industries after 40 years service. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Junior, Dan, and Chester Conaway, sisters, Roxie Morgan, and Jeanette Bobo.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Emmett Crider, son, Terry Crider, Rome; grandchildren, Amanda Crider, and Caleb Crider, brother, Allen Conaway, sister, Rose Thompson, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday November 7, 2016, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Doyle Kerr, officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, near Forney, Al. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service, on Monday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the family will accept flowers.
