Nannie Daniels Obituary
Nannie Belle Daniels, age 76, of Rome passed away August 1, 2016 in a local hospital.
A native of Rome, Mrs. Daniels was born December 23, 1939, daughter of the late Robert Monroe Brock and Birdie Louise Sharpe Brock. She was employed by Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital in the laundry and housekeeping departments. "Mama Belle" was a kind and tenderhearted woman who loved to shop for everyone in her family. For her grandchildren, it was Christmas every time they went to her house.
Survivors include her husband, James Edward Daniels; children Stephanie Elaine Lawson of Rome, Ernest Lamar Daniels of Kingston, Sandra Louise Carter of Rome, Susan Lynn Hinson of St. Louis, MO, and Melissa Daniels Gates of Spring, Texas. Thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grand children and one great great grandchild also survive.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 7 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome. Following the visitation, Mrs. Daniels will be cremated and no services are planned. Please visit our website at www.goodshepherdfh.net to post tributes.
