Necay Hatti Salter Howard, age 69, of Rome passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022. Necay was born on March 22, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Hugh K. Salter, Jr. and Carrie C. Cordell. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Edward Salter, Floyd Salter, and Loyd Salter. Survivors include her sons: Paul Salter, John Rhoten, Richard Johnson, Donald Johnson, and Joseph Rhoten; grandchildren: Makayla Johnson, Lexus Johnson, Cheyanne Salter, Dixie Salter, Adrian Salter, Christopher Rhoten, Landon Jonson, and Logan Johnson; 3 great grandchildren; brother: Charles Salter. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday January 21, 2022 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165. Good Shepherd Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
