Omega Welch Obituary
Omega Rachel Welch, age 74, of Lindale passed away Wednesday morning, August 2, 2017 in a local health care facility.
A native of Polk County, Mrs. Welch was bornJune 24, 1943, daughter of the late Bonnie Wofford Shelley and James Arthur Shelley. Prior to retirement, she was employed with Mercy Senior Care.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Welch; son James Arthur Lee Jackson; and a brother Mack Shelley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, August 5, in the chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue with Reverend Billy Rabern officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery on Booger Hollow Road. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
