Ralph Carroll Obituary
Mr. Ralph Carroll, age 78, of Rome passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at a local hospital.
Born on February 27, 1939, he was the son of the late Charlie and Blanche Carroll. He was a member of Dykes Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Carroll was retired from the Textile Industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emily Carroll, a sister Maudine Reeves, and a brother Jack Carroll.
Survivors include his children, Susan (Wayne) Ellis, Wanda (Mike) Garrett, Ken (Melanie) Carroll, Sandra (John) Taylor, and April (Scott) Wilson, 17 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Dykes Creek Baptist Church with Rev. George Nix, Rev. Zach Mathis, and Rev. Mikel Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Mizpah United Methodist Church cemetery.
