Randell Ted Stanfield, age 53, of Rome passed away, Friday, November 20, 2015,at his residence.
Ted was born January 26, 1962 in Floyd county. He attended North Rome Church of God and was employed as a automotive body mechanic. Ted loved working with his hands, fishing, riding his Harley and was very kind to his neighbors; always helping those in need. Ted was a veteran of United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Dunbar Stanfield, his parents, R. T. and Mae Bishop Stanfield, Rome; sister, Tina Lanford, brothers in law, Steve Langford, and Dale Dunbar, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at ,11:00 A.M. ,Monday, November 23, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Burt Brooks, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home,2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 A. M. on Monday, David Bishop, Josh Harkins, Matt Mathis, Jerome Carney, Jeff Carney, and Dewey Dunaway.
