Ray Glenn Stapleton, age 56 of Rome Georgia passed away Monday August 15, 2016 Mr. Stapleton was born on February 21, 1960 a son of the late Joe Stapleton and Kate Pearson Stapleton, and was preceded in death by sister Sue Sisson. He was a member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Doyle Rd.

Survivors include sons, Joseph and Matthew Stapleton; sister Kathy Stout; brothers Sammy and Doug Cook; granddaughters, Emma Grace and Joleigh Stapleton; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 21 at 3:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
