Ronnie Eugene Storey, age 69, of Rome passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his residence.
Ronnie was born September 13, 1947 in Floyd County a son of the late James Storey and Margie Welchel Storey. He was employed by Mar-Glen Industries, for many years and later retiring from Tip Top Auto Sales. He was of the Baptist Faith, and was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Storey, and sister, Sheila Kennamer.
Survivors include his wife, Aileen Williams Storey, children, Tim (Jill) Storey, Cartersville; Shane Storey, Rome: Steven (Amy) Storey, Rome; Stacey (Scott) Stanley, Rome; 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clinton Green, and Tim Storey, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Sunday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
