Ruby Blasengame Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Jo Thacker Blasengame, age 76 of Rome passed away Saturday May 28, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Blasengame was born in Alabama, on June 6, 1936. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Marion Blasengame, and her father Joseph Thacker, sister, Mattie Lee Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Tony Blasengame, Rome; Rev. David (Judy Ann) Blasengame, Rome; daughters, Judy Ann Carlin, Rome; Pamela Bell, Rome; Emily (Jesse T.) Satcher, Rome; 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday May 31, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Rev. Rev. Darrell Cornett, and Rev. Earl Vaughn, officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the services on Tuesday at Harmony Baptist Church.
