.Sandra Ellen Bruce, age 71, of Rome passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at her residence.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Bruce was born April 4, 1945 daughter of the late Charles Lee Lansdell and Ella Mae Westcott Lansdell. She was a retired salesperson with Badcock Furniture where she loved working with Harold Holland. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and going to Walmart and M and J Cafeteria with her sister Margaret. Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Bruce .
Survivors include her three sons Jeremy (Christy) Bruce, Robbie, and Bradley Bruce; granddaughter Alyssa Bruce; brothers Benny, Jerry, Gerald, and Roy Lansdell; sister Margaret Hammond: goddaughter Cortni Kline.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4 PM Friday in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Reverend Don Agan officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
