Sheldon Joseph Patterson, age 70, of Cedartown passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016.
A native of Miami, FL Mr. Patterson was born December 19, 1945, son of the late Adoll Patterson and Thelma Karp Patterson.He was a veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Patterson was a retired printer and attended Little Cedar Church. He will be remembered as a laid back, kind, and gentle man who loved gardening.
Survivors include His wife, Brenda Patterson; three sons Josh, Joel, and John Patterson; Several grandchildren and his sister Janet Beem also survive, along with his father in law William F. Kelly and sisters in law Sandra Garner and Elaine Kelly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Thursday, October 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue. Interment will follow at 2 PM in the Georgia National Cemetery with the Honor Guard of the Shanklin-Attaway Post of the American Legion rendering military honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
