Sylvia Jean Padgett Mullins Vetter, age 75, of Rome passed away December 16, 2020 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Vetter was born March 17, 1945, in Dalton, Ga. A daughter of the late Nelson Padgett, and Bertha Irene Corbin Padgett. She was a member of Radio Springs Baptist Church, and was retired from AJO Stale Line. Mrs. Vetter was preceded in death by her husbands, James Larry Mullins Sr. and Richard Vetter, daughter Carla Amanda Adams, son James Larry Mullins Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Crystal (Kenneth) Owens, Deborah (John) Baggett, brother, J. L. (Anna) Padgett, sister, Sharon (David) Harkins, grandchildren, Amanda, Megan, Morgan, Jeremy, Deborah, Trey, Dustin, Thomas, Zach, Josh, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. Until the funeral hour on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, GA. 30165.
Pallbearers include Heather Holt, Jeremy Coleman, Trey Mullins, Dustin Mullins, Drew Harkins, Nelson Padgett and Thomas Lyda
