Tammy Nipper Obituary
Tammy Darlene Deaton Nipper, age 60, of Rome gained her wings February 5, 2020, due to many health issues, and recently had been diagnosed with cancer. She was under the care of Homestead Hospice and Home Nurse.
Tammy was born in Atlanta Ga. March 7, 1959, grew up in Cedartown, Ga. She had spent her adult life in Rome and worked in the carpet industry prior to becoming disabled. She was preceded in death, by her father, Gordon Deaton, Jr. mother Willie Mewborn , brother, Johnny Deaton, and a nephew Joesph Adam Cason.
Survivors include by a daughter, Donna Miller, grandsons, Derek Towe, Jim (Scooter) Miller, sister, Kathy Cason, brother, Terry Deaton, her sister by choice, Cyndi Morgan, a special friend, Dawn Walker, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday February 10, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Chas Childers, officiating. Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday February 9, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165, And from 12 until 1 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Troy Morgan, Tyrone Howell, Rodney Towe, Travis Cason, Dwayne Cason, Isaac Cason,
Honorary pallbearers Derek Towe, Jim (Scooter) Miller.
