Thelma Patch, age 96, was born in Portland, Maine on July 30,1922 to her parents the late Ferdinand Graffam and Minnie Gertrude Young Graffan. She went home to be with her Savior, Wednesday July 3, 2019.
She was married to Eugene Patch for nearly 59, years. He preceded her in death in August 2005.
Thelma has two children,; Genie (Steve) Coyle, Rome; Paul (Jennifer) Patch, Rome; four grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Mount, Avondale Estates, Ga; Nathaniel (Heather) Coyle, Marietta; Brandon (Emily) Patch, Rome; Lindsay (Kevin) Hardy, Cartersville: She has six great grandchildren: Brantley, Brody, Bankston Patch, Zoey and Lea Coyle, Olivia Hardy, two nephews, Curtis and Kendall Graffam, special niece, Denise Graffam Wilson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Graffam, and Marshall Graffam.
The Patch Family move from Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Rome in 1964. Thelma and Gene were active members of Garden Lakes Baptist Church and in later years, In Focus Worship Center.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Fifth Avenue Healthcare and the caring staff from Heyman Hospice.

A private graveside service was held Sunday July 7, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
