We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Albert Dean Smith on October 18, 2023, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. Albert Dean Smith was born in Rome, GA on July 5, 1953, from the late Dolphis William Smith and Winnie Faye Camp.

Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife Sara Neil Smith. He was survived by his brother Ralph Smith, his sisters Brenda Chapman and Sharon Gaddison, several nieces and nephews.

Albert was a good soul, he loved people, he didn’t meet a stranger, he was loved by many! He was skillful with his hands and could repair anything that needed love and care. He will be greatly missed by many; his memories will remain with everyone that crossed his path.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time for Mr. Albert Dean Smith. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
