Alma Jean Cagle Minshew, age 78, of Shannon passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020 at a local hospital.
Alma was born February 27, 1941 in Bartow County GA. to the late Elbert Frank Cagle and Margaret Dover Cagle. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Marvin Cagle, Carl Henry Cagle, and Junior Cagle; sister: Lois Kelley.
Survivors include her husband: Wayne "Butch" Minshew; son: Michael Minshew; daughters: Dottie Cook, Debbie Davis, Kim Stone, and Michelle Price; grandchildren: Luke Davis, Kyle Davis, Jessica Stone, Zachary Stone, Tatiana Lopez, Tamyrra Price, Abral Wilson-Thrasher, Joshua Cook, Jessica Cook, Jennifer Wooten; great grandchildren: Chelsey Davis, Isaak Lopez, Hunter Cook, Reed Cook, Chloe Willingham, Kelsey Wooten, Carson Wooten, and Grayson Wooten; brothers: Charles Cagle, and Raymond Cagle; sister: Nancy Goss.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday January 13, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with Rev. Marvin Jackson, and Rev. Glen Studdard. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday January 12, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Luke Davis, Kyle Davis, Zachary Stone, Zane Holder, Joshua Cook, Christian Lopez.
