In Loving Memory of Angela R. Helton
September 22, 1975 – May 4, 2025
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the gentle soul of Angela R. Helton, aged forty-nine, departed from this world and was received into everlasting rest. Born on September 22, 1975, in Dalton, Georgia, Angela spent her earthly years rooted in faith, affection, and quiet compassion.
Angela’s life was a testament to enduring love and loyalty. She is deeply mourned and tenderly remembered by her devoted husband, William Londell, who stood faithfully by her side in both joy and hardship. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Isaac Helton and Sarah Helton, each bearing the imprint of her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion.
She was a gentle light and guiding hand to her two grandchildren, NaNa and KaKa. They knew the safety of a love that asked nothing in return in her embrace. Angela’s spirit also lives on in her brother, Bobby Helton; in her sisters, Lisa Officer, Tina Wheat, and Miss May; and in a loving circle of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Angela was preceded in death by her brother, Bradley Brookshire, and her sister, Sharon Brookshire, who now await her in Heaven’s peace.
Angela was a Christian whose quiet devotion bore fruit in her daily acts of mercy and compassion. Though soft-spoken, she lived her faith out loud, most notably through the tender care she offered to the least among us; those without shelter or voice. With a heart as vast as the skies above Dalton, she rescued countless dogs and cats, becoming a safe haven for creatures others overlooked. Her love for animals was not fleeting, it was fierce, faithful, and maternal in nature.
Angela’s joys were modest but meaningful: the comfort of a good television show, the lilt of laughter shared among friends and family, the warmth of home. She found delight in simple pleasures, and those in her company found peace in her presence.
Though her time on Earth was not long in years, her impact was deep and enduring. Angela’s memory will remain an abiding presence in the lives she touched through every kind word, every warm smile, every quiet act of love.
