Annell Bradfield Obituary
Mrs. Annell Bradfield, age 68, passed away Saturday morning August 7, 2021 at Floyd Medical Center of Rome, a facility where she devoted 25 years of employment as a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes educator.
Aside from being a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, co-worker, and friend, Annell was an active member of the New Life Church of God until her health began to decline and she was no longer able to attend. She also served the community of Rome through participating in several health fairs including Kiki's kids camp, a four day summer camp for children who have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It was rare that Annell took time out for herself, but when she did she could be found enjoying quality time with her family and friends or watching an episode of I Love Lucy or the Andy Griffith Show.
Annell was a born again Christian, and she believed to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The most important thing to her was to hear "Well done thou good and faithful servant." Her family is finding peace knowing that she is now healed and in the arms of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Big Jim" Bradfield, who passed away just 11 months ago. Father: Arlan Belcher, Mother: Nell Belcher Miolen, Brother: A.J. Belcher
Survivors include: Daughter: Stephanie Lee (Donnie) , Son: Jamison Bradfield (Catherine) and daughter: Jennifer Daigle (Aaron) Brothers: Don Belcher (Jan), Bob Belcher (Lesa) and Curt Belcher (Kaleen) Sister: Barbara LLorens (Nelson) Granddaughter: Ivey Bradfield, Great Grandson: Isaiah Hawkins Grandson: Dakota Ellison, Grandson: Aiden Daigle and Granddaughter: Reagan Daigle,Multiple step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 14, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with Sean Belcher and Justin Grant officiating. Entombment will be in Oaknoll Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service hour on Saturday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
