Annie Ruth Parr, age 81, of Rome passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Parr was born February 13, 1940, in Floyd County a daughter of the late Horace and Dovie Highfield. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church and was retired from Hostess Bakery. She was preceded in death by her husband Otis Parr, son, Deryl Parr, Sr. grandchild, Hope Parr, sister Tina Crumbley.
Survivors include, sons, Deryl Parr ( Lindsay Hardin) Larry Otis Parr, sister, Ruby (Lonnie) Allmond, grandchildren, Hunter Parr, Crystal (Dominique) Porter, Gina(Jonathan) Red, and Ashley Parr, great grandchildren, Austin Parr, Alex Parr, Miligh Bannister, Derek Parr, and Izzy Parr, Kayden Beam, Timothy Askew Jr, Jayden Askew, Raelynn Parr, D'Niyah Porter, Kendalyn Red, Walker Red.
A visitation will be held at on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165 from 11: 00 Am until 1:00 P.M.
