Barbara Mull Obituary

Barbara Mull, 71, passed away peacefully at home on September 18th, 2022.

She was born on April 22nd, 1951, in Rome, GA. Barbara met Jimmy in high school, and they married in April 1970. They have two sons, Coley & Benji who brought so much joy to her life. She was meant to be a wife and mother.

Barbara was dedicated to her family and always put them first. She was affectionately known as "Nana" to her grandchildren/great grandchildren and enjoyed attending any and all of their events. She was employed by Shorter University and First United Methodist Church; she retired in 2016. Barbara & Jimmy were longtime members of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church. She and Jimmy had a passion for teaching children's Sunday School classes for over 40 years to plant seeds of Faith.

She leaves behind two sons and spouses, Adam Coley Mull and wife Tonya Mull of Bartlesville, OK and Benjamin Heath Mull and wife Nicole Mull of Soddy Daisy, TN; seven grandchildren: Braden Coley, Carter Adam, Ledi Grace, Savannah Kennedy, Jackson Heath, Tatum Tinsley and Colton James. She is preceded in death by her parents, her mother Mary Kate Head, her father, James Dempsey and two brothers, Gary Dempsey and Roy Dempsey.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday September 23rd, 2022, at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church, with Rev. Mac McCurry officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service hour on Friday at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church, 735 Old Summerville Rd NW, Rome, GA 30165

Pallbearers include all her grandsons, Braden Coley Mull, Carter Adam Mull, Jackson Heath Mull and Colton James Mull.
