Johnson on January 15, 1933, in the heartwarming community of Floyd County, Georgia, Betty's life was a demonstration of love, faith, and grace.
Preceded in her journey to eternity by her beloved parents, her devoted husband, Jack E. White, Sr., and her treasured daughter, Gail White, Betty’s legacy flourishes through her adoring family. She leaves behind a beacon of her love and spirit to her son, Jack E. White, Jr.; her granddaughter, Lacie K. Coker (Joshua); and her twinkling stars of joy, great-grandchildren Levi Coker and Adalie Coker.
Betty’s life was a rich tapestry of unwavering devotion—first to her Lord, then to her family. A pillar of faith and love at North Rome Church of God, she not only worshipped but lived her belief in every gesture and word. Her love for God was as boundless as the ocean, reflected in her diligent study of His Word and her eagerness to embody His grace in every facet of her life.
Betty’s heart held an infinite capacity for love, especially for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was their guardian angel in life, their guiding light with love that knew no bounds. An avid reader of the Bible, Betty found solace and strength in God’s Word. Her devotion to scripture was a reflection of her deep and abiding faith, a wellspring of wisdom she shared generously with all who knew her. Betty’s talents were many. She was an accomplished seamstress, creating garments that wrapped her loved ones in warmth and style. Her culinary skills were legendary.
As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. Betty Gordon Johnson White was a loving Christian woman, a guiding star whose light shone brightly on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, faith, and grace endures, inspiring hope for a life well-lived.
