In Loving Memory of
Brittany Nicole LeCroy Wilson
December 14, 1989 ~ July 21, 2025
Brittany Nicole LeCroy Wilson, thirty-five, of Rome, Georgia was a soul whose light was not confined by years. She lived in this world as glorious burst of color and laughter, and her absence from this world feels like a light gone out just before morning, leaving a tender hush where joy once lived aloud.
Brittany was born to Gerald LeCroy and Kathy Henderson Cook, who watched her grow into a woman who met life with sparkle and volume. She lived as though joy was an art form, and rooms were meant to be lit by more than electricity; they were to be lit by presence. She had that kind of presence. Her smile wide and wild and wonderfully sincere, had a way of reaching people before her words ever did. When she smiled, people felt seen, even if only for a moment.
She loved her family in a way that showed itself not always in grand declarations but in the stringing together of ordinary, everyday acts: a shared joke, a spontaneous dance, a hand reached out, a meal prepared without asking. She was the kind of mother whose children; Michael Wilson, Dereck Wilson, Dalton Wilson, Noah Wilson, and Haley Broadaway, knew they were loved, Brittany loved her babies not just in the way the world marks love, but in a true and deeply abiding love, that sticks even when life is hard and days are long.
Brittany was a sister and a daughter, too; one who added color to every gathering and left a few sequins behind, whether she meant to or not. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her loving step mother that helped raised her with love and care Carrie LeCroy, her brother, Mason LeCroy, and her sisters, Michelle LeCroy, Jennifer LeCroy, Kimberly LeCroy, and Christy Stansell. Her legacy winds through her many nieces and nephews, who will carry in their bones the rhythm of her laughter.
Brittany services will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home on Friday, August 1st, 2025 with visitation from 1:00PM till the Funeral Service at 3:00PM, she will be laid to rest in Lindale Cemetery. Lamar Davis will be officiating. Those who will walk with her one final time as pallbearers are Pete Hubbard, Gerald LeCroy, Michelle LeCroy, Curtis Hartline, Bret Stansell, and Tyler Jackson.
Though she has departed from this side of the veil, her echo lingers in every shared memory, in every glimmer of light caught in the corner of a room, and in every face that still smiles a little brighter when her name is spoken.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
