Carl Franklin McCullough (Paw Paw) Transitioned to Heaven on April 17th at 88 years old; Carl was born on July 3rd, 1934, in Floyd County GA. to the late William Mitchell McCullough and Mary Jewel McCullough.
Carl was a faithful member of Riverside Baptist Church. Carl will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather. Carl served in the United States Army & and was awarded an honorable discharge in 1963.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Betty McCullough, she passed away on March 31st, 2023. He is Survived by two sons: Cary (Debbie) Armuchee, Barry (Sissy) Rome. Four Grandchildren: Rebecca (Trey), Katie (Michael), Chelsie (Matt), & Seth (Samantha). Eight Great Grandchildren: Tripp, Lyla, Owen, Victoria, Ben, Nora, Willow & Amelia.
Visitation will be held at Riverside Baptist Church on Wednesday April 19th from 6pm-8pm. The funeral service for Carl Franklin McCullough will be held on Thursday April 20th at 2pm in the afternoon at Riverside Baptist Church, with his Son Rev. Barry McCullough & his Pastor Randy Lambert officiating. Graveside will follow at Oaknoll Cemetery.
The following gentlemen are asked to serve as Pallbearers: and should arrive at 1:30 on Thursday at the church. Seth McCullough, Trey Stephens, Tripp Stephens, Matt Rumphol, Phil Lambert, Tony Cantrell, Michael Skeen, Jody Summerville & Ed Selman.
