Christine Haney Obituary

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Christine Bramlett Haney

December 4, 1930 - March 5, 2024

Christine Bramlett Haney, 93, of Smyrna, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Born on December 4, 1930, to the late Glen L Bramlett and the late Minnie Hunt Bramlett, Christine's journey on this earth was marked by grace, faith, and unwavering dedication.

Christine's life was a testament to her deep-rooted faith and commitment to her Christian values. A steadfast member of New Hope Patriot Church, she exemplified the virtues of love, kindness, and compassion throughout her lifetime. Her unwavering belief in God's love sustained her through life's trials and triumphs, shaping her into the remarkable woman she was.

In addition to her spiritual devotion, Christine dedicated 42 years of her life to serving as a valued employee at Lockheed Martin. Her tenure there was not merely a job but a testament to her work ethic, reliability, and dedication to excellence. Her contributions left an indelible mark on the company and its community, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Christine possessed a remarkable talent for home economics, particularly in the art of sewing. Her nimble fingers and creative spirit transformed fabric into exquisite garments, not only for herself but also for her beloved family. Through her skillful hands, she adorned her loved ones with warmth and comfort, leaving behind tangible expressions of her love and care.

Christine's legacy extends far beyond her earthly presence. She leaves behind cherished memories and lessons of faith, resilience, and the importance of nurturing familial bonds. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Christine is preceded in death by her devoted husband, George R. Haney, and her brothers, Don Bramlett, Alton Bramlett, Hugh Bramlett, Troy Bramlett, Lamar Bramlett, Kenneth Bramlett, Ray Bramlett, and Keith Bramlett. She is survived by her son, Stacey Haney; her daughter-in-law, Sherilyn Haney; her great-granddaughter, Chevelle Stowe; her brother, Wayne Bramlett; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Bramlett.
