Deborah Marie Huggins

Deborah Garrison Huggins of Rome, Georgia traded this life for one in heaven on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 67 years old. She was born to the late Carl Ronald Garrison and Elizabeth Marie Upshaw Garrison on August 18, 1955.

She is survived by her beloved husband of thirty-three years Paul Ernest Huggins, Jr,and  her treasured daughter, Emma Elizabeth Huggins, Debbie also leaves behind her brother, John Robert (Bob) Garrison, and sister Sylvia Garrison Rucker preceded in death by her brother Michael C. Warren and  several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and her beloved cat Emerald also survive. 

In addition to her parents, Debby will be reunited in heaven with her son Paul Ernest Huggins, III, her daughter Frances Yvonne Huggins Bice.

Debby enjoyed shopping and taking the time to pick out the perfect gift for her loved ones. She rejoiced in finding just the thing that would bring a smile to the faces of her many precious family and friends. The one thing that may have come close to rivaling her passion for giving was her devotion to her tenacious Georgia Bulldogs.

The family will hold a visitation service on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with the funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home; with her nephew, The Rev. Paul Lynch officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include Zack Rucker, Ben Harris, Jim Doyle and Mike Jenkins.
