Donnie Ray Charles (De-Duck), age 72, of Rome passed away Monday December 2, 2019 at a local hospital.
Donnie was born February 20, 1947 to the late Arlin and Minnie Lou Charles. He worked in concrete business for many years. He also loved fishing and hunting.
Survivors include two sisters: Lillie Mae (Donald) Satcher, and Joyce (Joe) Burgess, two sons: Kenny R. Charles, and Jason Charles, daughter: Angela (Dwayne) Wilbanks; four grandchildren: Jacob (Erica) Cosper, Ashlee Charles, Kady (Micah) Wilbanks, and Taylor (Jake R) Charles; five great grandchildren: Lydia, Adilynn, Kohen, Judd, Kason; 23 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday December 6, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12 Noon on Friday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
