Doris E. Rutledge Neyman, age 87, of Floyd County, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Born on June 26, 1937, in Temple, Georgia, Doris was the cherished daughter of the late Gordon and Ida B. Rutledge.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Neyman. She is survived by her brother, James D. Rutledge (Becky), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Doris embraced the Baptist faith and lived a life guided by its principles of kindness and compassion. Her professional career was distinguished by her tenure as a legal secretary for a private practice then worked for an Attorney at Zartic until she retired.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Doris’s life and legacy during a visitation service on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome, Georgia 30165. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Alan Fuller officiating.
