Dorothy Carter Reynolds, age 80, of Rome passed away Monday July 13, 2020 at her residence.
Dorothy was born on November 2, 1939 in Atlanta GA. to the late Judson Carter and Ida Leona Worthington Carter. She was a seamstress for Springs Manufacturing where she retired from. Dorothy was a member at Community Fellowship Church in Rome. She was a pianist and singer at several churches in surrounding areas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Eddie Williams; sisters: Evelyn McPherson, Emily Carroll, Carolyn Severance; special pets: Angel, Sparky.
Survivors include children: Danny (Rebecca) Williams, Tim (Kim Johnson) Williams, Deborah Wilson, Janice Williams, Cristal (Jeff Smith) Williams; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brothers: Roy Carter, Harry (Linda) Carter, and Bill (Penny) Carter; sister: Kathleen (T.N.) Willingham, and Ann (Tommy) Burnette; and her pets: Zoe, Bob the cat.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service on Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave Rome GA. 30165.
