Elizabeth Claire Price Kempson, age 92, of Rome passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Kempson was born May 29, 1929, in Chattanooga Tennessee, a daughter of the late James William Price, and Hilda Pause Price. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Kempson was a 1947 graduate of Girls High. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kempson, son, David Kempson, siblings, Edwin Price, Junior Price, and Louise Price.
Suvivors include her son and daughter in law, Peter and Lora Kempson, grandson, Brandon (Erica) Kempson, great grandchildren, Landon Timms, Annabelle Kempson, Emma Kempson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday September 23, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Hight, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
