Evelyn Jeanette Baker, age 84, passed away at peace on Tuesday, October 2, 2023, at her daughter's home.

She married Mather Carter Baker July 27, 1958. Together, they had 4 children: Nevin (Valerie), Natalie (Woody), Norris (Lori), and Eddie Baker.

She is survived by her sister, Inez Watson, brother Edward Paris, her beloved children, grandchildren Amy (Travis) Tucker, Valerie (Evan) Sullins, Brice (Sarah) Baker, Bradi (Bradley) Adams, Brett Baker, Dakota Sapp, and Gavin Sapp as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Travis Tucker, Evan Sullins, Brice Baker, Bradley Adams, Brett Baker, Dakota Sapp, and Gavin Sapp.

Honorary pallbearers Keith Sheffield and Donny Higgenbotham. Family, friends, and others whose lives Jeanette touched are invited to the Good Shepherd Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5, 2023, 11:00am to reminisce, grieve, & support each other in remembrance of her. Funeral service to follow at 1:00pm with graveside service at Floyd Memorial Gardens where she will rest with her beloved husband.
