It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Faire Lue Landers, aged 89, who left this world on January 15, 2025. Born on August 27, 1935, in Cotton Valley, Louisiana, Faire Lue was a radiant spirit and a cherished matriarch who touched the lives of many along her remarkable journey.
As the beloved daughter of the late Robert Washington Booth and Etha Fern Rogers Booth, Lue built a life rich in love and family. She devoted 70 glorious years to her soulmate, retired SSMSGT Billie Landers Jr., standing by his side through all of life's triumphs and tribulations. Their unwavering bond and deep affection were an inspiration to all who knew them.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Billie, and her loving children: Billy Burch from Pensacola, FL; Mathew Landers from Rome, GA; Patsy Reynolds from Rome, GA; and Cindy Landers from Rome, GA.
Her joy extended to her cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Williams from Hiram, GA, Christen Sposa from Atlanta, GA, Laura Oliver from Rome, GA; Ryan Rogers from Rome, GA; Megan Mohler from Hawaii; and her grandsons, Jake and Ethan Landers from Rome, GA. The love she shared with her family was immeasurable and nourished her spirit every day of her life.
In addition to her family, Lue was known for her entrepreneurial spirit, running the beloved Biscuit Basket in Rome for nearly a decade. She was a community figure, welcoming everyone with a smile and a culinary masterpiece. Her passion extended beyond the kitchen; she was an avid gamer, always ready to take on any challenger with a twinkle in her eye and a fierce competitive spirit.
Lue is preceded in death by her parents, but her legacy lives on in her family and all the lives she touched. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and wisdom, which will stay in our hearts forever.
