In Memoriam: Glenda Ellen Hall

With heavy hearts and fond memories, we announce the passing of Glenda Ellen Hall, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. Glenda was born on March 28, 1972, in Rome, Georgia, at Floyd Medical Center, to her loving parents RJ and Glenda Carolyn Hall. She touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments.

Glenda was not just a daughter to RJ and Carolyn, but a beacon of light in their lives. She was a mother who poured her heart and soul into her children, guiding them with unwavering love and support. She is survived by her father, RJ Hall; her mother, Carolyn Hall; her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Hall and Destiny Hall, Timothy Johnson, Wendy Johnson, and Sean Richards; her brothers and sisters, Bobby Hall, Todd Hall, Susan Hall, Tina Hall; her nine grandchildren,  six nephews, and three nieces. who were all touched by her love and wisdom. They were all touched by Glenda’s love and wisdom.

Glenda's role as a grandmother was a source of immense joy for her. Her nine grandchildren brought boundless happiness; she cherished every moment spent with them. She also leaves behind a host of nephews and nieces who were enriched by her presence.

Known for her vibrant personality, Glenda was a free spirit who radiated positivity. Her laughter was infectious, and she had a unique ability to bring happiness to those around her. Whether through a funny story or a heartfelt conversation, she was someone you could always turn to. Her comforting presence and her shoulder to lean on were a balm to every hardship and heartache.

As we remember Glenda, let us not dwell on the circumstances of her passing, but instead, let us rejoice in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace with our Father, where pain and suffering cease to exist. In our own journeys, we will eventually be called home as well, and we can only imagine the joyous reunion as she was greeted at the gates by Timmy, who preceded her in passing. Their spirits will live on in our hearts for eternity.

The pallbearers who will carry Glenda on her final journey are Dawson Hall, Robert Tucker, Josh Tucker, Justin Hall, Austin Lindsey, and Erik Guzman.

In this time of grief, we come together to honor the memory of Glenda Ellen Hall, a remarkable soul who left a permanent mark on all our lives. Though she may be physically absent, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

May she rest in eternal peace, and may her family find solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
