Guillermo "Mito" Vazquez-Aranda Obituary

Guillermo “Mito” Vazquez-Aranda

October 29, 1998 – May 14, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Guillermo “Mito” Vazquez-Aranda, age 27, of Rome, who left this world on May 14, 2026.

Mito was the kind of person who made life feel brighter just by being in the room. He had a contagious smile, a huge heart, and a way of making everyone around him feel welcomed, loved, and included. To know him was truly to love him. He lived with happiness, excitement, and hope for the future, always talking about his dreams, making plans, and looking ahead to what was next in life.

He loved sports, music, and celebrating every moment he could. Whether he was proudly cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs or Chivas del Guadalajara, or showing up with his speaker ready to turn an ordinary gathering into a memory nobody would forget, Mito carried an energy that brought people together. He knew how to make people laugh, how to lift spirits, and how to make life feel lighter even on hard days.

More than anything, Mito loved his family and the people closest to him. He treasured every moment spent with his parents, sisters, niece, girlfriend, friends, and his beloved dogs, Walker and Mia. His love was genuine, loyal, and constant, and the bond he shared with those around him will never be forgotten.

Mito was a proud college graduate who earned his Bachelor’s degree and worked in the purchasing office at WMP Crates in crate fabrication. He was hardworking, dependable, and always willing to help others in any way he could. He leaves behind not only accomplishments, but countless memories filled with laughter, music, kindness, and love.

He is survived by his loving parents, Maria Estela Aranda and Guillermo Vazquez; his devoted sisters, Yesenia Vazquez and Nancy Vazquez; his cherished niece, Clarissa Natalia Rodriguez; his girlfriend Maria Isabel Hernandez; his dogs, Walker and Mia; and many extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

Although our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the time, love, and joy Mito gave to all of us. His spirit, his laughter, and the happiness he brought into every room will never be forgotten.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, with Father Salomon officiating. Visitation will follow at Good Shepherd Funeral Home from 3:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
