Jessie Crabb Obituary

Jessie “Myrl” Crabb, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at Redmond Hospital in Rome, Georgia, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 1, 1943, in Bonneville, Florida, to Lonnie and Myrtle Mills.

Myrl lived a life marked by hard work, adventure, faith, and deep love for her family. As an adult, she gave her life to Christ, and her salvation remained important to her throughout her life. She married the love of her life, Sonny Crabb, in 2003. She built airplanes for Cessna, Boeing, and Lockheed, and later dedicated several years to caring for elderly individuals as a compassionate caregiver.

She was known for her love of bargain shopping and yard sales, and she enjoyed playing games of all kinds, especially her favorite, Yahtzee. Myrl was also an avid traveler, journeying thousands of miles often on her own with a fearless and independent spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Myrtle Mills; her siblings, Jerry, Linda, Don, and Mike Mills; her husband, Wayne “Sonny” Crabb; her sons, Randy Adkins and James Adkins; and her granddaughters, Sheena Parker and Jenni Adkins; and her great-grandson, Cameron Parker.

Myrl is survived by her daughter, Tammy Bagwell; her stepdaughter, Pam Parker Crabb; and her grandchildren: Joshua Adkins, Chris Adkins, Logan Adkins, Corey Adkins, Bria Adkins, Blake Bagwell, Deanna Hewett, Kasey Head, Miranda Adkins, Brittany Adkins, and Ashley Adkins. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren who will carry on her memory.
