Jesus Ocampo Obituary

Jesus Ocampo, 63, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in Cedartown, Georgia. He was born on August 6, 1960, in Ojo de Agua, Estado Guerrero, Mexico, to Hermelinda Calderon and the late Adalberto Ocampo.

In addition to his father, Jesus was preceded in death by several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving mother, Hermelinda; his brothers Pedro Ocampo and Jose Ocampo (Guadalupe); and his sisters Maria Ocampo, and Maria Ocampo (Felix).

Jesus was a man of many talents and endless compassion. Known for his generosity, he never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. He held an enduring love for his parents and made it his life's mission to care for his mother after the passing of his father, tirelessly working to provide her with comforts they could not afford in earlier years.

A connoisseur of music, Jesus had a particular fondness for old-school 80s and 90s cumbia norteñas, often crafting playlists that served as the soundtrack to countless friend gatherings. He was also proficient in electronics, specifically working with speakers, combining his love for both music and technology. Beyond his technical skills, he had an artistic soul and was incredibly talented at drawing.

Jesus' warm spirit and caring nature will be sorely missed but forever cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Jesus. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
