Mr. Jimmy D. Randall, age 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 13, 2025.
Jimmy was born in Addison, Alabama, on March 12, 1940, to the late Harry Randall and Ellen Barkley Randall.
Jimmy was a U.S. veteran who served on the U.S.S. Sea Leopard submarine for 4 years. He retired after 39 years from the former Georgia Kraft paper mill, where he worked as a welder, blacksmith, and millwright.
Surviving are the love of his life and wife of 63 years, Gayle Ledford Randall; daughters Lisa Owings and April Plumley; grandchildren Haley Brooke Johnson, Dakota Plumley, Jesse Plumley, and Sage Owings. Also surviving is a sister, Terry Hook.
Jimmy loved being outdoors, whether hunting, camping, or trout fishing. He also enjoyed working in his woodshop, creating special, detailed pieces.
Jimmy's life will be honored at Good Shepherd Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 with a visitation from 12:00PM till the Funeral Service hour at 2:00PM, Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jarrod Roberts will be officiating.
