In Loving Memory of Johnny Eugene Sprayberry
January 28, 1953 – May 2, 2024

Johnny Eugene Sprayberry, aged 71, of Kingston, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born on January 28, 1953, in Rockmart, Georgia, to John Wesley Sprayberry and Mary Frances Grant Sprayberry.

Johnny leaves behind his cherished wife, Martha Ladig. Together, they navigated the adventures of life, bound by love and shared passions. He is also survived by his stepchildren, John Ladig, and Tammy Vanessa (Jim), whom he loved as his own. His joy was further multiplied by his step-grandchildren, Maddie, Adam, and Amber. Johnny's siblings, Billy Sprayberry (Kim), Jeannie Childers, Marie Hall (James), Gail Collins (Scott), Darlene Dovers (David), and Ramona Phillips (Ben), will remember him as a beloved brother with a kind heart.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Thomas Clyde Sprayberry.

Johnny's life was enriched by music. A talented guitarist and an enthusiastic songwriter, he had a deep affection for Gospel music, which resonated through his soul and out into the world. His performances were a source of joy, particularly to his late mother, who was always his number one fan. Beyond music, his life was deeply intertwined with his wife Martha, and their beloved dogs, Lizzie and Bubbles, who brought endless happiness to his days.
