Julie Faye Thigpen, 52, of Rome, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025,at Advent Redmond Medical Center, surrounded by her closest family and friends.Born on December 10, 1972, in Atlanta, Georgia, Julie's life was a complex andheartfelt journey - one marked by personal challenges and deep, unwavering love for her family. Julie faced many struggles throughout her life, and though the road was often difficult, she never stopped trying to be the best mother she knew how to be.Her love for her children and grandchildren was constant and sincere. Even in hard times, her laughter could fill a room, and her smile had the power to liftspirits. She gave what she could, when she could, and always carried a heartfull of compassion.

She was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ who held tightly to her faith. Julie was always willing to help someone in need, and her love for her family was the foundation of who she was.

Julie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Richard and Mary Thigpen, and her youngest daughter, Summer Bryant. She leaves behind her children:Forever in our hearts Tiffany (Joshua) Barnes- Chrystal (Samuel) Pierce- Brian GoldenHer beloved grandchildren:- Kaylen, Samuel Jr., and Emily Pierce- Cynthia, Nickolas, Riley, and Amberly Barnes- Audrey Collins- Randell Jr. Delay- Waylon and Westin Reddish. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Thigpen; niece Maryleigh Cross; and nephew Richard Thigpen.

Julie found joy in life's simple moments. She loved to cook, keep a clean home, listen to music, visit flea markets, spend time with family and friends, and play bingo on her phone. She held the words of Psalm 23 close to her heart, finding peace and hope in God's presence. Julie also found comfort in signs from heaven - she believed her loved ones who had passed would send her messages through small, gentle things like finding pennies, spotting a bright red cardinal, or watching a butterfly float by. Moments like those gave her peace and reminded her that she was never alone. Julie will be deeply missed - not for perfection, but for her effort, her love, Forever in our hearts and the beautiful parts of her spirit that live on in the family she cherished."Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."- Psalm 23:6
