Kathleen (Dingler) Jacobs

Kathleen Dingler Jacobs, beloved wife of the late David Ray Jacobs, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Rome, Georgia. 

Kathleen was born in Blount County Alabama on April 16, 1934, to the late Latha Mamie and Walter Dingler. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and one brother.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Harbin, Barbara Pokojski, Judy Jacobs and Brenda Brumit. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Zena.

Kathleen was a member of Garden Lakes Baptist Church. She worked at Georgia School for the Deaf and Coosa High School in food service for 20 years. She was a member of Xavier Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. 

Arrangements are being handled by Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 07, 2026, from 1:00PM till Funeral Service time at 2:00PM. Pastor Camille Josey will be officiating.
