Koda Sandoval Obituary

Today, we gather with broken hearts to celebrate the life of Koda Luis Sandoval, a little boy who, in just three short years, filled the world with boundless love, joy, and light. Though his time with us was brief, his impact will last forever.

Koda was a bright spark—his fiery red hair, his brilliant blue eyes, and his infectious laughter lit up every room he entered. He had a love for all things that moved—trucks, cars, anything with wheels. His excitement was pure and endless as he played, his tiny hands gripping his favorite toys, his imagination soaring. Whether he was watching Paw Patrol or Spidey and his Amazing Friends, he was always captivated, eyes wide with wonder.

Above all, Koda was deeply loved. His mother, Alexis Sandoval, and his father, James Gayton, adored him beyond measure. His grandparents, Kristen Dawn Sandoval and Roberto Luis Sandoval, cherished every moment with their beloved grandson. His aunts—Zoe, Hannah, and Yunie Sandoval—held him close, and his uncles—Luis, Pablo, David, and Daniel Sandoval—were proud to be part of his life. Koda was surrounded by family who will carry his love in their hearts forever.

Though we wish we had more time, we are grateful for the time we had. Koda’s laughter, his joy, and his love will never fade. He will live on in every sunset, every child’s laughter, and every race car speeding by.

A Poem for Koda

A little boy with eyes so bright,

A heart that glowed with golden light.

With tiny hands and joyful cheer,

You filled our days with love sincere.

Your laughter rang, so sweet, so free,

A melody of purest glee.

Now though you're gone, we feel you near,

In whispered wind, in falling tear.

In every truck that rumbles by,

In every bright and endless sky,

In every dream, in every song,

Your love will guide us all along.

Rest, dear Koda, soft and light,

Forever racing in the night.

Though you're beyond our touch today,

In our hearts, you'll always stay.

Koda, you were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. May you find endless roads to race upon, endless adventures to chase. We love you always.
