Lauren Elizabeth Helton Womack, 41, of Kingston, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, following a valiant eight-year battle with cancer. Despite her illness, she embodied the very definition of resilience and courage. She never stopped being the determined and spirited woman known and loved by all.

Lauren was born on March 16, 1982, in Rome, Georgia, to Rhonda Langley and Phil Helton. A woman of steel with a heart of gold, she grew to become an inspiring figure to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her beloved parents, Lauren is survived by her adoring husband, Robert Womack, who was the center of her universe, and their cherished son, Easton Jay Womack, whom she loved more than words can express. Lauren also leaves behind her brother, Jonathan Helton, and her sister, Carla Ivester, all of whom she held very close to her heart.

Lauren was a courageous soul who believed in the power of hard work and the importance of family. As a tough and determined woman, she was a relentless force of nature, often working tirelessly on something new.

An adventurer at heart, Lauren enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. Her life was a testament to the adage that it's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years. She lived with full intensity, leaving no opportunity for joy and discovery unturned.

Lauren lived her life as a beacon of strength, courage, and dedication, inspiring everyone around her with her zest for life. She fought her battle with cancer with unrivaled bravery never allowing it to dampen her determination and optimism.

Lauren's unbreakable spirit and love for life will forever remain a lasting testament to the incredible woman she was.

She wasn't just a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend but an extraordinary example of resilience, a fighter who never gave up a loving soul who treasured family and friends, and a tireless worker. Lauren's legacy of love, resilience, and adventure will continue to inspire us all.

Her family invites those who wish to celebrate Lauren's life to remember her not with sadness, but with the joy she brought into the world, the courage she demonstrated, and the enduring love she bestowed on those around her. She was a beacon of strength, a pillar of love, and a testament to living life on one's own terms.

Her favorite verse was Romans 8:28; And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
