Linda Evans Obituary

Linda Carrol Evans passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. She was born on
October 8, 1955, to the late Fredrick and Betty Sue Greene. In addition to her
parents, Linda is also preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Childs
Redd, her son Mitchell Evans and her sister Deborah Palmer.

Linda is survived by her husband, Carlos Allen Evans; her daughters Crystal Hollis,
and Carmen Childs Kruger; her grandchildren, Hunter Hollis, Andrew Hollis, Dylan
Evans, Tristan Lewis, Audrey Lewis, Hayden Wheat, Jayden Redd, Brayden Redd,
and Riley Kruger; her brothers Brian Greene and Kevin Greene; and her sisters
Shelia Chappius, Pam Blakeney, and Teresa Ryan.

Having a profound respect for the written word, Linda had an ardent passion
and a deep appreciation for reading books. They were not just a means of
entertainment for her but also a gateway to knowledge, imagination, and
personal growth. She found inspiration and intellectual stimulation in the pages
of the books she chose.

To say that Linda was a hard, dependable worker would be putting it lightly. She
was a human whirlwind, a force of unwavering determination and ceaseless
energy. With sleeves rolled up and a gleam in her eyes, she tackled each task
with a tenacity that knew no bounds.

Linda was the very picture of grace and dignity. She carried herself with a quiet
assurance and a serene strength that captivated everyone she encountered.
Her laughter was a melodic symphony of joy that resonated with warmth and
genuine happiness and love that drew smiles from those fortunate enough to
witness. Her smile was a work of art; a masterpiece surely created especially for
her by God.

In a world that often moves at a hurried pace, Linda was a gentle soul who
cherished every moment with heartfelt sentiment. She wore her emotions like
delicate lace, woven intricately into the fabric of her being. Her sentimental
nature infused each experience, memory, and connection with a depth of
feeling that is both tender and profound. She exuded empathy and
understanding, listening with an open heart and offering wise counsel when
needed.

Linda was a loving wife, nurturing mother, devoted grandmother, loyal sister,
supportive friend, and reliable colleague. Mere words cannot express how
deeply she will be missed.
