Linda Faye Tindell

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Linda Faye Tindell, 52 lost her more than year-long battle with cancer in a Fort Payne, Alabama nursing home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on November 21, 1969, to Robert Louie Tindell and Martha Faye Campbell in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert. She leaves behind her son, Cameron Ingram, her grandchildren Sawyer, and Knox, her mother Faye, her sisters Teresa Mayo, Rhonda Whatley, and Ashley Dake, her niece and nephews, as well as many special cousins, and a multitude of loving friends.

Forever the social butterfly, Linda rarely met a stranger, and everyone who met her instantly loved her. Linda was as stubborn as she was kind. She was fun-loving, adventurous, and generous to a fault.  She adored her family and cherished her dog, Izzy. Linda’s son Cameron was her literal heartbeat.

Services to celebrate Linda’s life will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022, with a visitation at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00-2:00pm. A memorial service will begin at 2:00pm. Interment will be at 3pm at the Rome Memorial Park.

Reverend Charles Dake and Reverend Grant Magness are presiding. Pallbearers include Keelon Stroup, MJ Whatley, DJ Whatley, Mark Ingram, Chris Stewart, and Jimmy Prevatt. Honorary pallbearer: Cameron Ingram.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Good Shepherd Funeral Home for Linda’s funeral services.
